FRUIT JUICE - New EU rules on fruit juices and similar products: Council discussions

The following is an extract from the minutes of the Justice and Home Affairs Council meeting on 8 March 2012:

The Council approved a compromise text aimed at further aligning the EU directive on fruit juices and similar products to the international food standards of the Codex Alimentarius (74/11 + 6834/12 ADD 1), following a first-reading agreement with the European Parliament.
