Manner of marking or labelling: “x-height”

Ths size of text used to provide the mandatory information is defined by reference to the “x-height”. What this means is shown in a figure in Annex IV:

The “x-height” of text shall be equal to or greater that 1.2mm unless the “largest surface has an area less than 80cm2 in which case the x-height is equal to or greater than 0.9mm.
